Our workshop, rug production, order fulfilment, and shipping operations are based in M'rirt, Morocco. Our rugs are handmade in Morocco and shipped to customers worldwide.

By visiting our website, placing an order, or using any part of our services, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return and Refund Policy.

3. Our Products

Wool Heritage offers handmade Moroccan rugs and related products.

Most rugs are made to order after a customer completes a purchase.

Each rug is individually handmade by artisans in Morocco. As a result, minor differences may occur between the rug received and the photographs displayed on the website.

Natural variations may include:

  • Slight differences in dimensions

  • Color-tone variations

  • Pattern placement

  • Wool texture

  • Pile height

  • Weaving tension

  • Tassel length

  • Finishing details

These variations are part of the handmade nature of the product and are not normally considered defects.

4. Product Images and Colors

We make reasonable efforts to display product images and colors accurately.

However, the appearance of a rug may vary depending on:

Because rugs are handmade, finished dimensions may vary slightly from the dimensions ordered.

Customers are responsible for measuring their intended space before placing an order.

Wool Heritage is not responsible when a customer selects an unsuitable size or provides incorrect custom measurements.

6. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices, dimensions, availability, and other information are accurate.

We may correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time.

If a material error affects an order you have already placed, we may contact you to:

  • Confirm the corrected information

  • Offer an appropriate alternative

  • Cancel the affected order

  • Issue a refund when appropriate

7. Prices and Currency

Product prices are displayed in the currency selected or shown on the website.

Currency conversions may be provided through Shopify or another currency-conversion service. Converted prices may vary according to exchange-rate changes.

The final amount charged will be displayed during checkout before payment.

Prices may change without notice. A price change will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for.

After placing an order, you may receive an automatic confirmation email. This email confirms that we received the order, but it does not guarantee that the order can be fulfilled.

We may review the order before accepting it.

We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including when:

  • A product is unavailable

  • The price or product information contains a material error

  • Payment cannot be authorized

  • Fraud or unauthorized activity is suspected

  • The shipping destination cannot be served

  • The order violates these Terms

  • We cannot reasonably produce or fulfil the requested product

  • A custom request cannot be completed

If we cancel a paid order, we will issue the appropriate refund to the original payment method.

We cannot guarantee that order or address details can be changed after production or shipping begins.

11. Payment

Payment must be successfully authorized before an order can enter production or fulfilment.

Payments are processed through payment providers made available through Shopify.

We do not directly store complete payment-card details on our own servers.

Your payment provider may apply:

  • Currency-conversion charges

  • International transaction fees

  • Bank fees

  • Security checks

  • Payment-verification requirements

These third-party charges are outside Wool Heritage's control.

12. Fraud Prevention

We may use fraud-prevention systems and request additional information when necessary to verify an order.

We may delay, refuse, or cancel an order when we reasonably suspect:

  • Fraud

  • Unauthorized payment use

  • Identity misuse

  • Incorrect billing information

  • Abuse of promotions

  • Suspicious purchasing activity

Failure to provide reasonably requested verification may result in cancellation.

13. Made-to-Order Production

Most Wool Heritage rugs are made after an order is confirmed.

Estimated production times are displayed in our Shipping Policy or communicated during the order process.

Production time may depend on:

  • Rug dimensions

  • Design complexity

  • Weaving technique

  • Material availability

  • Artisan availability

  • Customization requests

  • Seasonal production volume

Production estimates are not guaranteed completion dates.

We will contact you when a significant delay materially affects the estimated timeline.

14. Custom and Personalized Orders

Custom products may include:

  • Special finishing requests

  • Other customer-specific requirements

The customer is responsible for reviewing and approving all custom-order details.

Once production begins, custom or personalized orders may not be changed or cancelled unless we agree in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.

A custom request is not accepted until Wool Heritage confirms that it can be produced.

15. Changes to an Order

Requests to change an order must be submitted as soon as possible.

Changes may not be possible after:

  • Wool has been prepared

  • Materials have been allocated

  • Weaving has started

  • Custom details have been approved

  • Production costs have been incurred

  • The order has been dispatched

Approved changes may affect:

  • Product price

  • Production time

  • Shipping cost

  • Delivery estimate

A requested change becomes effective only after Wool Heritage confirms it in writing.

16. Order Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be sent to info@woolheritage.com as soon as possible.

A cancellation is not guaranteed after production has started.

Made-to-order, custom-size, personalized, or specially modified rugs may not be cancellable after production begins, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

17. Shipping and Delivery

All rugs are produced and fulfilled from M'rirt, Morocco unless otherwise stated.

Shipping destinations, production times, transit estimates, customs information, and delivery conditions are explained in our Shipping Policy.

Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Shipping may be affected by:

  • Customs inspections

  • Carrier delays

  • Weather

  • Public holidays

  • Strikes

  • Border restrictions

  • Incorrect customer information

  • Recipient unavailability

  • Events outside our reasonable control

The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information and responding to carrier or customs requests.

18. Transfer of Risk

Responsibility for loss or damage during shipping will be determined according to:

  • The circumstances of the shipment

  • The carrier's terms

Customers must inspect delivered packages promptly and report visible damage according to our Return and Refund Policy.

Because most Wool Heritage rugs are handmade and made to order, we do not voluntarily accept general change-of-mind returns.

We accept valid claims involving products that are:

  • Materially different from the order due to our error

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

20. Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions.

Unless stated otherwise:
